There should be a donation system as well.

Filtered/Screened by:
-class
-level/exp
-total hours played across all characters (___ Hours or less valid)
-language
-time zone

You can specify the filters and then people that meet the criteria can pick it up.
Ex.:
Donation of :Wand 10% recharge req. 3 protection prayers

filter by :
-Monk or /Mo only
--Exceptions---> remove W/mo, N/Mo
-Only level 12 or below
-English only
-eastern time only

Then when the person gets it they will receive a user donation message : You have received "Wand" that was donated by "(Donation person name)".

The donator can add a message to the item, like "I hope you enjoy this wand. Good luck on your journeys" - (Donator name)

I see no point. It'll be abused. I'd rather sell to the merchant anyway.

Would be nice to see more players do nice things to other players (new players specificly):
*Person buys GW in local gaming store*
*Veteran Player X donates clean max dmg req. 9 storm bow*
*New player makes ranger (coincidence)*
*New player goes to post searing with little knowledge of the game*
*New player gets message "You have just recieved a Storm Bow, donated by Player X"*
*New player checks inventory*
-Double clicks on new bow
-Bow description:
Storm Bow
Piercing Dmg 15-28 req. 9
"Hope you have fun

Then again, people may use this to get rid of useless items/annoy other players:
*Veteran Player Y donates Starter Elemental Rod to E/ and /E lvl15+*
*Player A lvl20 E/Mo gets Starter Elemental Rod from Player Y*
*Player A checks inventory*
-Puts curser over Starter Elemntal Rod
-Starter Elemental Rod description
Starter Rod
Fire dmg 1-3 (or whatever it may be)
"F***ing nUb, I pwn j00!" ~Player Y

How can it be abused if you have a total hours played limit AND a level limit. Unless you are going to be buying a second game just to get items, which is pretty sad.

Maybe...have it limit to 5 items at max or something...

Starter items cannot be traded. Perhaps they can implement a feature that limits the items that can be traded so their value is between a certain range.
